Intervues is building an AI interviewer that conducts structured voice interviews itself — not a chatbot that reads a script, and not a one-way video recorder. The company hiring suite is in design with pilots open; the candidate practice app is live today.
Most tools labeled "AI interviewer" are either async video recorders or resume screeners with a voice skin. Intervues treats the interview as a live conversation: turn-taking, follow-ups based on what was just said, and scores tied to specific transcript moments.
That is the same interview engine described on our interview engine page — reasoning, ASR, scoring, and evidence layers built and tested, opening to general hiring use through pilots before a full company-suite launch.
The candidate app at candidates.intervues.club is live: practice interviews, evidence-backed reports, and pay-per-interview credits. The hiring-side AI interviewer — bulk roster, JD-in-fit-report-out — is in design with design partners; we are not claiming live ATS sync or shipped enterprise connectors.
One-way video tools ask fixed questions and store recordings. An AI interviewer listens in real time, decides when to wait or probe, and produces a scorecard with citations — closer to a consistent human phone screen than a form with a camera.
